Merger Creates Largest Transition Planning and Facility Activation Consulting Firm in North America

Healthcare Building Solutions, LLC (HBS) has acquired the Transition Planning Division of Healthcare Technical Services, LLC (HTS). The HTS team has a national presence providing transition planning, facility activation, and move planning services to hospitals helping ensure a safe transition and patient relocation into a new environment of care.
HBS is a highly respected healthcare consultancy offering project management, medical equipment planning, transition planning, facility activation services, regulatory compliance assistance, and turn-key development capabilities to health systems, both domestically and internationally. HBS is a platform investment of Latticework Capital Management, a Dallas-based private equity firm focused on partnering with entrepreneurially minded management teams to build leading healthcare companies.
“We are very excited to add HTS’s deep bench of clinical expertise and transition planning professionals to our service line offerings,” shares Jay Hornung, ACHE, CHFM, President and CEO of HBS. “The addition of HTS to our portfolio of firms provides us with the resources, scale, geographic reach, and capabilities to solidify our position as the leading provider of transition planning and facility activation services in the healthcare industry.”
HTS was founded in 2002 and offers a range of services and solutions to facility managers and owners in support of the built environment. The firm’s client portfolio includes projects for health systems, academic institutions, community hospitals, children's hospitals, ambulatory/outpatient facilities, cancer centers, and rehabilitation (inpatient/outpatient) facilities across the country. “We have collaborated with HBS on projects and know that HBS shares our client-first focus,” adds HTS Senior Vice President Hilda Nering, RN, MSN. “We decided to join forces with HBS because we believe that a larger organization will allow us to provide a wider array of services and more depth to meet evolving client needs.”

First time I played marble sort I ended up with a complete logjam on the conveyor. I thought the level was broken. Then I realized I just dropped the wrong color at the wrong time. That lesson stuck and now I think two steps ahead.
Pixel Flow came up in an online list of hidden puzzle games. I gave it a try and now it’s my default game while commuting. The key is to avoid wasting ammo on blocks that don’t help uncover deeper layers. That careful planning feels good when it pays off.
Game is hard became my break-time game because the levels are quick, but it kept ruining my breaks because I could not close it while stuck. The game gives you short, weird puzzles where the rules change all the time. You need touch for one, motion for another, timing for another, and sometimes the correct move is to stop doing anything. That kind of variety kept me coming back.
