Medical Equipment Planner - CanadaJob Summary The Medical Equipment Planner role is responsible for successfully developing and delivering the medical equipment plans as scoped for healthcare capital projects. This role ensures client satisfaction throughout the planning process in meeting clinical, operational and project objectives. This position ensures all planning activities are performed, with complete data accuracy, in a manner consistent with documented processes while adhering to design schedules and project expectations. The Medical Equipment Planner is expected to be able to independently manage the equipment needs for minor healthcare construction projects with the guidance from senior staff. The Medical Equipment Planner is expected to take over and manage portions of equipment planning projects, such as patient units, and non-clinical spaces to assist Senior Planners as part of a team for larger / complicated projects. Responsibilities Understand and maintain the value in client relationships, internally and externally. Accounts Receivable and Revenue ManagerResponsibilities Invoice Management: Oversee the creation, distribution, and tracking of invoices to clients. Ensure invoices are accurate, comply with contractual agreements, and are processed in a timely manner. Collections: Manage the collections process, including following up with clients on overdue invoices, tracking payment terms, and resolving any payment discrepancies or issues. Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts receivable ledgers, including matching payments with invoices, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. Prepare or review Unbilled and Deferred account reconciliations. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and collections performance to senior management. Analyze trends and provide insights to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function. Develop and maintain best practices for invoicing, collections, and cash application. Team Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to accounts receivable staff.
