462,000 SF, 19-story Specialty Care Pavilion houses the NCI-designated Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center; the Digestive Health Institute; Jefferson Transplant Institute; and the Jane and Leonard KormanRespiratory Institute; as well as other clinical specialties including cardiovascular, otolaryngology, rheumatology and urology.  The facility includes more than 300 exam rooms, 40 infusion chairs, 10 operating rooms, 6 endoscopy rooms, imaging and lab services, and a retail pharmacy.

126,000 SF, 3-story vertical addition provides space for 34 post-partum patient rooms, 2 C-section rooms, 8 LDRs as well as a 56-bed NICU and 32 pediatric med/surg rooms. As part of the project, approximately 14,000 SF of the existing fifth floor of the Children’s Hospital was renovated from office space to provide another 14 pediatric acute care patient rooms, team care stations and support spaces.

The outpatient specialty clinics serve a variety of program types including Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Radiology and other general ambulatory services. The inpatient component includes 60 patient beds with future growth up to 105 beds to serve an historically underserved population.  IPD project with Lean Design.
